The hospital itself, MountainView Regional Medical Center, is the newest addition to the hospital medicine community in Las Cruces. Just a little over 6 years old, the hospital is a 15,000 square foot medical plaza with a mountain view from every room. Physicians in over 35 medical specialties practice at the 168-bed hospital, including a full-service emergency department that is currently hiring two full-time staff physicians in addition to a Medical Director.
